Lives Privacy Policy

1. General Provisions
This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") defines the procedures for processing and protecting the personal data of users (hereinafter referred to as the "User") of the Lives mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the "Application"), owned by independent developer Lukas Pierce (hereinafter referred to as the "Administration").
The Application strictly complies with data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other applicable regulations.
2. Data We Collect
The Application may collect and process the following personal data from Users:
- Phone Number: Used for registration and login via a one-time code (sent via SMS) and password. A public phone number may also be provided for display in listings.
- Email: Used exclusively for system notifications (e.g., password recovery) and is not shared with other users.
- Name and Surname: Provided during registration and visible to all users. A pseudonym may be used. Identity verification is available to receive a "Verified Identity" badge.
- Photos: Uploaded images related to listings.
- Profile Photos: Users may upload images for display as their avatar.
- Addresses: Entered by users when posting listings.
- Geolocation: Can be used at the User's discretion when posting a listing to determine its location. Geodata is not collected in the background and is not linked to the User's identity.
- IP Addresses: Logged upon each account login for security purposes.
3. How Data is Used
Personal data is processed solely for the following purposes:
- Authorization and login.
- Publishing and managing listings.
- Ensuring security (preventing unauthorized access, alerting about suspicious logins).
- Enhancing user experience.
- Facilitating communication with sellers (public phone number).
The Application does not share data with third parties or use it for advertising purposes.
4. Data Security
The Administration takes all reasonable measures to protect personal data using modern cybersecurity methods:
- Passwords are stored in encrypted form using encryption algorithms.
- Two-factor authentication via SMS code and password.
- Rate limits and IP blocking for suspicious activity.
- Regular encrypted data backups.
- Logging of login and key actions to detect suspicious activity.
- Automated monitoring and blocking of unauthorized access attempts.
- Protection against SQL injections and XSS attacks: Regular security audits and best coding practices.
- Restricted data access: Personal data is only accessible to authorized personnel with necessary clearance.
- Traffic encryption: SSL encryption protects communication between the client and the server.
Personal data is stored on private servers, while media files are hosted on Google Cloud servers.
5. User Rights
In accordance with applicable law, Users have the following rights:
- Right to Access: Users can request a copy of their data.
- Right to Correction: Users can edit their data in profile settings.
- Right to Deletion: Account deletion is available in the "Personal Data" section.

6. Age Restrictions
The Application is intended exclusively for Users aged 18 and above due to its business-oriented nature. The primary purpose of the Application is to publish and search for real estate listings, which involves adult users with legal capacity to engage in real estate transactions.
During registration, Users are asked to confirm their age. If they are under 18, registration is not possible. No document-based age verification is required.
The Application does not contain or distribute content restricted for minors, including but not limited to gambling, drugs, violence, or erotic content. The age restriction is solely based on the nature of the services provided and is not related to the presence of inappropriate content.
7. Data Storage and Deletion
Personal data is stored on servers for the duration necessary to perform the Application’s functions. Upon account deletion, personal data is permanently erased without recovery, except where retention is required by law.
8. Changes to the Policy
The Administration reserves the right to amend this Policy. In the event of significant changes, Users will be notified via the Application or email. Continued use of the Application after modifications implies acceptance of the new version of the Policy.
